NEW VDM

We are pleased to inform you that the new range of VDM diverter valves has been completed. Sizes for diameters from 48.3 mm to 168 mm are available as from now.
The 'New VDM', as distinct from the old series, is applicable to both the food and the chemical, plastic and pharmaceutical sectors, thanks to its clearly improved construction and the superior quality materials used.

Technical characteristics:

-Body, drum and covers in 0.15 mm thick nickel-plated tempered aluminium alloy
-3 stub-pipes in Fe37 nickel- plated steel 0.15 mm thick (stainless steel on request) for connection by means of pipe clamps
-food sector seals in PTFE not in contact with the product
-air blow-in kit on seals including manometer and pressure regulator
-AUT0MAX actuator rotative 120°
-bistable/monostable electrovalve 5/2 ISO
-coils with voltage as per your specifications
-drum coupled to main bearings for high speed
-system of anchorage on valve body
Performances:
-max. seal under pressure 1 bar
-max. seal under depression 0.5 bar
-working temperature - 5°C + 120°C
-changeover time in standard execution from 3 to 6 seconds depending on valve size
Objectives of the 'New VDM':
-cut plant maintenance costs by supplying an item clearly more durable both in terms of seal and wear. The gaskets are not in contact with the product so are not subject to deterioration. These seals have been tested for 20.000-25.000 changeovers without any problems whatsoever. -The 'New VDM ' has been created above all for those who work and design in different sectors, so you can standardise on only one machine .
-Easy and fast installation, thanks to its compact size and its presetting for assembly by means of pipe clamps.
-The consignment for models VDM 65-95-120 will soon be in stock in the warehouse with a variety the most common commercial diameters in use.
